سلسلة رائعة تبرز جميع أوجه حياة الطيور ، نجوب الأرض معهم فى 42 دولة ومن القطب الشمالي للجنوبي وفي البحار والبراري وفي الجبال والغابات، سنعيش مع الطيور التي لا تطير لنعرف لماذا أقلعت عن الطيران وكيف تهرب من مفترسيها، سنبصر سريعاً للطيور المنقرضة وكيف كان حالها ولم انقرضت. ستأخذنا السلسلة مرورا إلى طرق طيرانهم وكيف لائمت أجسادها الطيران وكيف استغلت الطيور هذه الميزة بشتى الطرق، فتجد من يطير سنوات دون أن يحط على الأرض ومن يهاجر لمسافات شاسعة ومن يطير على ارتفاعات شاهقة ومن يطير بسرعات فائقة. ثم سنتعرف على طريقة غذائهم وكيف تستعمل الطيور مناقيرها وأرجلها وحتى عقلها لتقتات طعامها فمنهم من يقتات على الحبوب والزروع ومنهم من لا يشبعه إلا اللحم ومنهم من يصيد السمك. ثم سننصت إلى تغريدها وألحانها وندائاتها إلى أن ننتقل إلى طريقتها الفريدة في الغزل والتزاوج ثم نبني معها العش كما لو كانت أتقن بنّاء ثم نربي معها فراخها ونتعرف على سلوكيات الرحمة والحنان ، والعناء والمشقة ،والرقة والجمال ، ثم ننتهي بما خص الله بعضها من ميزات لتمكنها من العيش في البيئات الضارية ومن التصرف في الأزمات وحل المشاكل العويصة [b]
